Ingredients
Before we get cooking, here’s everything you need. Check items off as you go — at home or in the store.
Directions
- In a large skillet or pot, heat pulled pork. Add maple syrup, chopped chipotle, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pork reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While pork is simmering, combine coleslaw mix, dressing, scallions, and adobo sauce. Mix until ingredients are evenly distributed. Set aside.
- Butter the insides of the slider rolls. Heat a large skillet and toast the buns.
- Top the base of each slider with roughly 2 oz of hot pulled pork. Evenly distribute coleslaw between sliders and finish each with the top bun.
NOTE: More or less chipotle can be used to adapt to preferred heat level.
*Whole muscle pork cuts are safe to eat when cooked to 145 degrees and allowed to rest for 3 minutes.
